What artists have you worked with?

CalvinSunday Studios has worked with artists including Pink Pantheress, Halsey, Blackbear, Lizzy McAlpine, and many more across touring, festivals, and studio recording.

Creative Direction

What does creative direction for live shows include?

Our creative direction services include stage design concepts, visual identity for tours, lighting design direction, set list flow and show pacing, visual content curation, and overall show aesthetic. We work with artists and their teams to create cohesive, immersive live experiences from concept to execution.

Do you do music video or visual content direction?

Yes. We offer creative direction for music videos, visuals, album rollouts, and brand identity. We work across the full creative process — concept development, treatment writing, on-set direction, and post-production oversight.

Live Sound

Do you offer live sound engineering for tours?

Yes. We provide front-of-house and monitor engineering for national and international tours, festivals, corporate events, and one-off shows. We carry our own mic packages and processing and adapt to any venue or PA system.

What equipment do you use for live sound?

Our live sound rig includes Yamaha CL and RIVAGE consoles, Shure and Sennheiser wireless systems, and we're comfortable on all major PA systems including L-Acoustics, d&b audiotechnik, JBL VTX, and Meyer Sound. We also carry backup splits, DI boxes, and custom mic packages.

Do you travel for live sound gigs?

Absolutely. We regularly travel throughout California and nationally for tours, festivals, corporate events, and church audio projects. Travel and accommodation are quoted on a per-project basis.

What types of events do you mix?

Everything from intimate club shows to major festival stages, corporate conferences, galas, church services, and arena tours. If it needs sound, we handle it.

Recording Studio

What recording services do you offer?

Our studios offer tracking, mixing, mastering, and production. We work across genres including pop, R&B, hip-hop, rock, worship, and electronic. Sessions are available at our Van Nuys and Redding locations.

What should I expect at a recording session?

We'll discuss your vision beforehand so we're prepared. Sessions are relaxed but focused — we handle all the technical setup so you can focus on performing. Rough mixes are provided same-day, with final mixes delivered within an agreed timeline.

Can you mix and master remotely?

Yes. We accept stems and multitracks for mixing and mastering remotely. Files can be sent via Dropbox, Google Drive, or WeTransfer. We'll set up a call to discuss your vision and deliver revisions until you're happy.

Church Audio

Do you offer church audio services?

Yes, church audio is a core part of what we do. We provide worship mixing, sound system design and installation, volunteer training, and livestream audio setup for churches throughout Northern California and beyond. Visit our church audio page for full details and service tiers.

We are based in Redding and serve churches throughout Shasta County — Redding, Anderson, Cottonwood, Red Bluff, Palo Cedro, and Shasta Lake. We also serve Chico, Sacramento, and travel throughout Northern California, statewide, and nationwide for larger projects.

Do you train volunteer sound teams?
